The article below, discovered by Bill Francis, a research librarian at the Baseball Hall of Fame and reported by Jeffery Goldberg of Atlantic Magazine, describes what probably was the weirdest baseball game ever played.
The game, played in Washington D.C. in 1926, pit the Ku Klux Klan against the Hebrew All Stars.

It turns out, as evidenced by the box score and recap below, the KKK beat the Jews 4-0 in a rained shortened 7-inning game. Nowhere in the story, however, does it explain how the Klansmen were able to play while wearing white hoods and robes.
