Last month, on actress/author Amber Benson’s official blog (which is named Amber Benson’s Official Blog), the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star turned writer threw out this challenge to her fans:

Okay, I have a favor to ask. If you have read the book I’m schilling (selling, pimping, whatever the Hell you wanna call it), would you post a review of it up on Amazon? I don’t care if you loved Death’s Daughter or hated it. Just post your thoughts; any and all. It would be very helpful and if I get 85 reviews going over at Amazon (not all by the same person) then I will post a video of me up on You Tube doing the Macarena.

You don’t believe? Just try me. I do a nasty Macarena. 

Well, last night on the Radio Happy Hour, Amber, who would later admit to being “dazed and confused” following a minor fender bender, agreed to do said Macarena while wearing a Got Blogstein t-shirt.

While it’s not clear whether her mental state was to blame for that addition to her Macarena Challenge, she did agree to it on air, archived forever in crystal clear MP3, so we plan on holding her to it!

That said, help Amber get to 85 reviews on Amazon.com! Buy and review Death’s Daughter, because if Amber’s Macarena is anything close to her performance here, its something we NEED to see!

The sexy Amber Benson is best known for her role as Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

 

Tara is introduced in the fourth season as a romantic interest for one of the show’s leads, Willow Rosenberg (played by Alyson Hannigan) and thus was part of one of television’s first lesbian couples to include a series’ major character and the only to include two witches (insert your Ellen DeGeneres/Portia de Rossi joke here.)

 

Amber has since written several novels and comic books, her latest titled Death’s Daughter.
