**An all new Vince Flynn interview when he returns to the Radio Happy Hour on Tuesday night October 21 at 9PM Eastern. Vince Flynn comes in at the 38:55 mark Just Click play–>
One of the most frequent search items that lead information super highway travelers to DrBlogstein.com is “Mitch Rapp Movies” or (or some variation there of.)
Of course, its a search for information regarding any news about whether or not Hollywood is finally going to make a movie featuring Mitch Rapp, the main character in Radio Happy Hour favorite and New York Times #1 Bestselling author Vince Flynn’s novels.
If you noticed, I said “up until now” in the previous paragraph. That’s because someone in Hollywood FINALLY figured out that making movies that people will want to see will most likely lead to big profits. And that someone is two people: Lorenzo di Bonaventura(”Transformers”) and Nick Wechsler(“We Own The Night”) who will be producing the films for CBS Films who has optioned the rights for Flynn’s Mitch Rapp character with the intention of creating a character-based, action-thriller movie franchise.
No word on when we’ll finally see Mitch Rapp kick ass on the big screen or who will be playing America’s favorite counter terrorism operative not named Jack Bauer, but I sure feel a lot safer knowing he’ll eventually be coming to a theater near me. . .
It may be Super Tuesday out there, but it’s Super Tue-Zane in here when we welcome in the undisputed “Queen of Erotica” and editor of Succulent: Chocolate Flava II–the book that features a sultry short story by our own Dangerous Lee.
2008 is a big year for the “Oprah of Sex”. In addition to Succulent and her appearance on the popular Blogstein show, Zane has several other books, a movie and a Cinemax series debuting this year.
Then, we rock with Sarah Mucho, the lead singer of System Noise. We’ll hear some tunes from a band J.R. Oliver of EarCandyMag calls “Art rock for a whole new generation.”
All that, plus, Supreme Commander of the Cyberwaves Vinny Bond drags his Big Leather Couch into the Radio Happy Hour Lounge and chats live with the listeners. He’ll also treat us to a reading of his own original erotica! Of course, Justin the Weatherman stops in with a forecast and we’ll take your calls at 646-652-4804

Paige Adams-Geller has perhaps the most important rear end in the fashion industry.
For years, as a fit model, her butt helped shape the clothing that women wear. Now, literally by the seat of her pants, the former Miss California has her own line of premium denim.
How does one make a career out of trying on clothing? What makes her ass different from all other asses? How can anyone feel comfortable in their own genes? We’ll get to the bottom of all that (pun very much intended) when “The Queen of Jeans” joins Dr. B and Dangerous Lee on the Radio Happy Hour. We’ll also give away a copy of her new book, Your Perfect Fit, to one lucky listener.
Then, Columbo’s great-niece and Radio Happy Hour favorite Samantha Falk returns with news of a controversial film project. Falk and actorRoss Tyler, her co-star, have both been cast in Memoirs of a Medicated Child, a movie that producer Tommy S. Parker continues to claim will star Britney Spears. Now, reports (here and here) are surfacing that the troubled pop star was never attached to or offered a role in the film. We’ll do our best to sort this complicated mess out.

Dr. Blogstein’s Radio Happy Hour can now officially be known as “The Oprah Show of Internet Radio”
Following author Brad Thor’s appearance on the popular show on July 17th, sales for his latest book, The First Commandment, skyrocketed him to the highest New York Times bestseller list ranking of his career.

Just in to the Dr. Blogstein Newsroom, the New York Times announced that Thor’s book will land at #7 on their August 5th edition of their bestseller list. Thor’s previous high spot was at #32.
“I don’t want to take full credit for the success of his book, I mean, Thor does write a helluva story,” Dr. Blogstein said, “but I’ll be happy to acknowledge that we probably deserve at least 47% of the credit.”
Thor was unavailable for comment, but I’m sure not for too long if he reads this story.
New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor will hang out with the Radio Happy Hour just one week before he embarks on a 12-city book tour.
Thor, whose new book The First Commandment hits bookstores on July 17th, will discuss his involvement in a little known Department of Homeland Security committee. He’ll also talk current events and he’ll tell us whether immensely infamous and terrifically evil “Troll” makes another appearance in his new book.
Also, we’ll take a trip to 1965 and interview the Fab Four. That’s right! John, Paul, George and Ringo will be live on air to perform a couple of their classic tunes! For the less gullible, Anthony Pomes and John Tabacco of Mostly Moptop, the ultimate Beatles tribute band, will entertain us and start the Radio Happy Hour British Invasion.
All that, plus find out who will be sitting in for Jane this week, we’ll see if we can locate the whereabouts of Vinny “Nice Guy” and as always, your calls at 646-652-4804.
Join us live every Tuesday night at 9PM ET. And if you miss us then, we’re ALWAYS ON right here and at our Radio Happy Hour affiliates found in the right sidebar. In fact, do yourself a favor and click here to SUBSCRIBE TO THE RADIO HAPPY HOUR!
Thor went on to say, “We need a dictator back in that country. That’s all those people respond to. The Arab world is so messed up, they can’t — you can’t give people democracy. They have to earn it. So let’s put our own strongman in there like we did with the shah, and let’s — let’s make it work.”
While it was clear to me that it was said tongue-in-cheek, I say, let’s not close off that idea yet. Back on February 23, 2006 I suggested putting Saddam back in charge for the same reasons. While that’s impossible now, perhaps one of his body doubles could be propped up and put in charge–though before that’s done it would have to be carefully explained to George W. as we don’t want him to get confused and go Shock & Awe again.
But short of a Saddam body double, I think Thor is onto something with Noriega. The man has the dictatorial experience (Noriega, not Thor), he’s not Sunni or Shiite or Kurdish so favoritism will not be an issue and I’m sure he’s just dying to get out of his cell and back into a Panamanian style heat.
I say give it try. It really can’t get much worse.
We’ll also be joined by Shant Kenderian, a fascinating man who’s life story is almost too unbelievable to be true.
Kenderian, an Iraqi born American and author of the newly released “1001 Nights in Iraq: The Shocking Story of an American Forced to Fight for Saddam Against the Country He Loves”, routinely finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. During the first Gulf War, he got caught inside Iraq’s closed borders and was forced by Saddam Hussein to fight in the Iraqi army AGAINST his own country! We’ll find out what life was like in the Iraq Army and how he found love in a most unusual place.
All that plus your calls at 646-652-4804, an update into what Jared our intern has accomplished and Vinny Bond will fill in for Jane live from his couch!
