Blogstein Hills 90210

The night started off with turbulence
June 10, 2008 was kinda hazy
Michael H. Brown, first guest
Author of American Women are Crazy

Dangerous Lee conducted the interview
I don’t see his book as being a hit
Thank you Dangerous for telling him
That he’s full of shit!

Every time he would open his mouth
A hole he began to dig
Wilbur, Babe, or Gordy
This man is such a pig!

Then we got a call
We were quiet as a mouse
Malcolm Danare patched us through
With Mr. James Eckhouse

Beverly Hills
90210
Will always be an icon
It was a wonderful show

Vinny Bonds is our leather
Dangerous Lee is our lace
Out of New York
Comes Paging Grace

Amanda called in
Sounding as cute as a beagle
One more year
And she’ll be legal

Save My Soul
Is a beautiful song
Not listening to them
Would be wrong

There was also talk of Bob Saget
Cant forget that
And of course
Rrrawling of a cat

Thank you Radio Jesus
You on cam we love to watch
Your dedicated fans
Think you’re top notch

Coming up this week on DR. BLOGSTEIN’S RADIO HAPPY HOUR: (Live on Tuesday June 10th at 9PM ET and forever archived at BlogTalkRadio.)

Dr. B and Dangerous Lee welcome Brandon and Brenda’s dad to the Radio Happy Hour. At least that’s how a whole generation of television viewers will always remember James Eckhouse–as Jim Walsh, the patriarch on Beverly Hills 90210.

in-heat.jpgEckhouse, along with Malcolm Danare, who plays Ned Ostroff on CSI Miami and will also be on this week’s show, have collaborated on IN HEAT, a comedic stage production running at The Lost Studio in Hollywood through July 20th.

We’ll discuss their new show, the differences between television and theater and of course, 90210.

Also this week, author Michael H. Brown will tell us why “American Women are Crazy“. Brown promises that by telling us about his experiences, he’ll save men “a mountain of grief, a ton of money, and the myriad of hassles known in American marriage today.”

Will he convince Dr. B to marry a Russian woman from a catalog? Will he convince Vinny Bond not to attempt marriage again? Will he survive the wrath of Dangerous Lee?

All that, plus the music of rock band Paging Grace, Vinny in the Radio Happy Hour Lounge chatting live with the listeners, Justin the Weatherman and we’ll take your calls at 646-652-4804paging-grace.jpg

Join us live every Tuesday night at 9PM ET. The Radio Happy Hour Lounge-a live chat room during show time-is a whole new reason to make sure you listen live! It’s the show within the show!

But if you can’t and miss us live, we’re ALWAYS ON at www.DrBlogstein.com

From Radio Jesus to Helly

June 3, 2008 was finally here
We came to feel the power
The #1 comedy show
Radio Happy Hour

Justin is on opposite Dr. Blogstein
The news is stinking
Why on earth would they do that?
What were they thinking?

Don’t worry Dr. Blogstein
That really doesn’t matter
His fame will fade again
We’ll forget about the clatter

On with the show
Cause Justin’s a sitting duck
First guest of the night, Deborah Aaronson
Author of a book called “Luck”

Her book sounds interesting
Justin is ucky
Let me ask you this kid
Are you feeling lucky? (Well, are you?)

Guest #2
Radio Jesus is totally bitchin’
You might remember Mark McGraw
From HGTV’s Spice up your Kitchen

One of the seasons top indie films
“The Sensei” is a heart wrenching fate
Currently playing The Hoboken International Film Festival
See it before it’s too late

Jack, The Movie Maniac appeared
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
He gave 2 thumbs down
Said it was dull

Can’t forget Vinny
On his couch made of leather
J-Lo didn’t make it
So we had no update on the weather

Dangerous Lee, Dangerous Lee
How you make our hearts flutter
You make us all melt
Like sticks of butter

She makes us wet
Like the falls of Niagara
Dr. Blogstein is as peppy
Like a man on Viagra

Don’t worry bout a thing
We’ll always be at your nest
Like Tina Turner said
You’re simply the best

So keep your head up high
Small things shouldn’t bother
You are Radio Jesus
All hail to Radio Godfather!

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

rck_crwbr.jpgComing up this week on DR. BLOGSTEIN’S RADIO HAPPY HOUR: (Live on Tuesday June 3rd at 9PM ET and forever archived at BlogTalkRadio.)

Dr. Blogstein and Dangerous Lee welcome Mark McGraw, co-star of one of this season’s top indie films, The Sensei, being screened at The Hoboken International Film Festival.

You may know McGraw’s dad and you probably know his brother and sister-in-law but this week, we meet Mark. We’ll also learn about the film, the film festival and his work with HGTV.

Then, we get lucky with Deborah Aaronson of The Society for Fortuitous Events. Know what color underwear to wear for good luck on an airplane? What lucky date to plan your wedding for? Ever wondered why a rabbit’s foot is considered lucky? Aaronsonluckguide_cover.gif knows–she wrote the book on luck: LUCK: THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE.

All that, plus, we’ll meet our new film critic, Jack “The Movie Maniac” as he’ll tell us what he thought of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Vinny Bond drags his Big Leather Couch into the Radio Happy Hour Lounge to chat live with the listeners, Justin the Weatherman and we’ll take your calls at 646-652-4804.

Join us live every Tuesday night at 9PM ET. The Radio Happy Hour Lounge-a live chat room during show time-is a whole new reason to make sure you listen live! It’s the show within the show!
