If Artie’s out, who’s in?

Newsday’s Pop Culture blog, Pet Rock, speculated recently on who would replace Artie Lange on the Howard Stern Show, assuming the Hoboken comedian really is leaving the show.
If Artie leaves, it would be a big chair to fill, literally and figuratively. Who would be a good fit?
Pet Rock plays it straight, suggesting regulars Greg FitzSimmons, Nick Dipaolo, Bob Levy, Jim Florentine and John Hein. All are well-known to Stern listeners, and of the five, only one – Hein – isn’t a working stand-up comic. But why give up on Hoboken? We’d like to nominate Adam Wade or Chris DeLuca for the post. Both are professional comedians and each would bring a distinctive voice to the show. And if they’re looking to go in an entirely different direction, how about Dr. Blogstein? He’s got plenty of (Internet) radio experience, much of it relevant to the Howard Stern Show.
