  1. Phil Says:

    Doc,

I listened up until the point when you got angry at Tisha and hung up on her. That is the last straw unless you find it deep with in yourself to really apologize to Tisha, and I don’t mean using the subject line like I hope that you’re not really mad.

Doc feel think react. What did you really expect that she would feel like?

It’s really time to come up with a sincere and heartfelt apology because that one that you used below doesn’t cut it.

  2. Tisha! Says:

NO Blogstein that’s not “show business” just you unable to deal…give us more credit than that, we are more discerning than you think.

Look how you air your dirty laundry and have the chutzpah to be proud of your despicable behavior.

Treat your loyal followers like garbage and you’ll see where that gets you.

It’s a good lesson for me though really not to be so loving and giving.

  3. Dr. Blogstein Says:

Come on now, Tisha. Wasn’t there also a time that you reprimanded me for being too NICE to you?

  4. Tisha! Says:

Doc, I didn’t reprimand you for being “too nice” however aloof, condescending and arrogant. My exact words “forever archived” were “come down to earth”.

If you hadn’t hung up on me TWICE I would have been able to explain to you that I had studied the American Idol “issue” the weekend before (they don’t show it on Belgian TV) with interest from a cultural perspective cause I think it is a travesty that certain singers make the cut while quality singers get booted off the Show and THAT is why I wanted to talk to sweet Vinnie.

By the way, people calling into your show to speak with your guests is a GOOD thing my friend. You enabling dialogue would be positive.

Feel, THINK and react! The second action of THINKING before reacting is CRITICAL!

You know how much I adore you, your work and your show but I am gravely disappointed and I have to say that I will not post about this on my blog, so whoever is looking for controversy can find it elsewhere, because I have more respect for myself and my readers than that.

It’s all about people, people, people Doc!

  5. Dr. Blogstein Says:

I was referring to the time, on our practice show, that you reprimanded me for being to nice to you.

But, besides that, I don’t know how many times you’d like me to apologize. I apologized later in the show, I personally emailed you, and I apologized on Vinnie Bond’s site.

I feel I’ve apologized, think that its sufficient and will now what for you to react.

  6. the girl also blogs Says:

No more apologizing, Blogstein. These people need a thicker skin.

  7. Bond Says:

Yo DOC it is VinnY not VinnIE

  8. Dr. Blogstein Says:

oh, great. Are you gonna start demanding apologies too now?!?

By the way, Bond, I’m getting some positive feedback on your appearance and almost all of it is saying how nice of a guy you seem to be. Perhaps they were comparing you to me, but still, I think we need more Bond on the Radio Happy Hour.

  9. TopChamp Says:

Sorry for saying I loathed you…. I’m sure you don’t really care, but I’ll listen next week & see if it was a one off.

  10. Dixiechick Says:

I did not get to listen last night, but I’m sure it was a good show. Bond is one of my very dear friends and I’m bummed I didn’t get to listen to him.

  11. Dr. Blogstein Says:

Top Champ: I’d rather you like me, but I’ll take you loathing me as long as you’re listening. Maybe one day I’ll change your mind!

DixChik: Listen right now. Its playing on my site–just turn up your volume.

  12. Tisha! Says:

As you can imagine Dr. B I did not listen to the rest of your show last night and thus didn’t hear the apology.

Secondly, your e-mail to me was NOT an apology but I will not quote it, would be tackless of me.

Thirdly I haven’t been back to my darling Bond’s Big (Black) Leather Couch since this morning..hold on I shall…

Thank you Dr. B. I accept your apology and sorry to have frazzled you.

    Tisha

  13. Dr. Blogstein Says:

I’ll quote the email for you as I’d hate for you to feel tactless. My email to Tisha following the show was:

Subject: I hope you’re not really mad

    Body:

It was all for the show….it makes funny radio. You’re a good sport!

    To which you responded:

    “FUCK OFF!”

Again, I’d hate for you to feel tactless.

  14. Jeremy Jacobs Says:

Looks like I missed a great show.

  15. Dr. Blogstein Says:

You can never miss it, JJ, its always available here on DrBlogstein.com (just turn up your speakers,) here on BlogTalkRadio, or download it to your iPod at iTunes.

  16. Dave Says:

Given the last couple of the comments, I gather Doc and Tish have made amends. That being the case, I have nothing to say.

  17. Dr. Blogstein Says:

Thanks, Dave. I’m glad you came by to say that!

  18. "My Point" Says:

Oh My! Look you two are both great…so…? Can’t we all get along?

  19. *~JESSIE~* Says:

    That show was freaking funny!

  20. Starrlight Says:

What the fuck is up with everyone?! Twinkle Starr goes away for what…2 months and Bestest goes to shit and Doc and Tisha are bickering like a dirty mouthed version of Archie and Edith. Spooky!
