Aaaaay!
I originally brought this up back when only me and my mom read Dr. Blogstein. Now that the world has discovered my brilliant words, I can actually test this theory that I have:
I’m convinced that everyone in the USA has or knows someone who has met or seen Henry Winkler. Ask around.

He gave my old college a cappella group five bucks when we came to NYC to sing in the streets (in general, not a good idea).

That Fonz is one nice guy! That’s good to hear. Plus, now we know he’s a fan of sidewalk musicians and singers, for whatever that is worth.

He came to BRIDPORT once in the UK wghere he had a pint of old Grunter at the Woodman pub. I spoke to him an he replied in a witty way “Get lost and leave me alone” Oh how we laughed !!

Too true! My cousin danced with him at an event in the late ’70’s. Debby Boone sang “You Light Up My Life” at that event.

I do have an Italian friend who says “Aaaaay” a lot. But with his accent it sounds more like “Eyy!”
