Tom Cruise is gay and Scientology is a joke
Oh boy, I’m asking for it! There’s no way that Tom Cruise is going to be interviewed on Dr. Blogstein to plug Mission Impossible 3 after this!
For those of you who have no idea what I’m referring to, I applaud you for having a life, please email me and tell me what its like. For everyone else, what’s the deal with the Short, Sofa-Hopping, Scientologist now?!?
World out of Hollyweird is that actor Tom Cruise threatened to boycott promotion of his upcoming Paramount Pictures film, Mission Impossible 3, unless sister cable TV network Comedy Central pulled a “South Park” rerun lampooning the Church of Scientology.
In the episode, which I must say is rather amusing, Stan scores so high on a Scientology test that church followers think he is the next L. Ron Hubbard. Cruise is depicted locking himself in Stan’s closet and then refusing repeated requests by various characters to “come out of the closet,” including John Travolta, who eventually joins Cruise in the closet.
What’s wrong with that?!?
Seriously, it kind of confirms my suspicions that people believe that Scientology is “cure” for homosexuality. Well, that, and dating Ellen DeGeneres.
But, back to Cruise, did he really need to do this? Who has given him the advice that in order to promote a movie he has to make a complete ass of himself? Has he already forgotten his unforgettable appearances on Oprah and Today last summer? Well, if he has, I suggest he get some psychological help–if only he believed in it.
All of that, to say this:
Enjoy the banned episode of South Park:

We will never defeat the Thetans if people continue to mock Tom Cruise.

You know, we had a lecturer last year tell us about Tom Cruise being gay. I didn’t believe it then, but now that Dr. Blogstein is on the case, I can buy it.

Looks like Lone Ranger has made it to Level III! Congrats!
Koosh: What on Earth was that lecture about if it included Tom Cruise being gay as part of the syllabus?!?

A gay visual literacy lecturer. Go figure. As a married gay man he liked to bring it up whenever the conversation may have swayed towards anything remotely homosexual. Was entertaining though.
